The Club House

Jose has been a very busy man since taking over The Club House this time last year.

Here are some photos of his new look Club House taken over Christmas, New Year and St. Valentines Night.

The stonework on the chimney breast is all José’s own work. We all wish him continuing success for the coming year.

RESORT MAINTENANCE

The work in Block 6 is finished and the maintenance team has worked hard to get the two outdoor pools ready for the season.

The boys checked out the sun beds to make repairs where necessary. They have painted the area around the lower pool, put in a new fence and put up new lamps. Not to mention maintained the motors, cleaned the filters, painted the border and replaced some of the parasols.

The boys then emptied and painted the pool on the upper terrace in Phase 2. They made repairs to the terrace, maintained the motors, replaced the filter sand and painted the whole area.

After that they emptied, cleaned and disinfected both water deposits to comply with our obligations under the law on legionnaire’s disease.

They are currently painting and doing maintenance around the resort to have Pueblo Evita looking good for our summer visitors.

The team worked hard on the maintenance of Block 6 during the winter months. They dismantled the old and installed new bathrooms in nine of the standard apartments. They also put in new windows and terrace doors and built new barbeques on most of the terraces.

They then painted the apartments throughout, polished the marble floors and did general apartment maintenance. Here are some photos of the work in progress.

HOUSEKEEPING

Maria Carmen made curtains and bedspreads to put into Block 6 when the maintenance team finished their work. After the boys finished painting each apartment, the housekeeping team followed them in to give the apartments an in depth clean to prepare them for occupation.

We have renewed the sofas and armchairs in several of the Elite Apartments and are currently renewing more to have them ready for the summer.
